Overview
Located in Shaughnessy, one of Vancouver’s most prestigious neighbourhoods, the scope of this project included large-scale renovations, furnishings and decorating for this 1926 Dutch colonial home.
Our challenge was to bring components of this heritage home up to modern living standards while maintaining many of the original features and materials. Our goal for this project has been to marry original, traditional and formal elements of the home with contemporary elements that infuse a more casual, layered, eclectic flair. Designing for a busy and active family of five (plus two dogs!) meant that functionality and durability were equally as important as aesthetics. This project is still in progress, and we look forward to sharing more with you soon.
