THINGS WE LEARNED IN NEW YORK PART I : BLUSH CRUSH

I can’t believe it’s already been a month since our team was in New York for ICFF. I love going to design shows and try to make a point each year to make it to at least one outside of Vancouver. In an industry that’s constantly changing and evolving it’s so important keep our finger on the pulse and to stay ahead of trends so that we can help clients set them. There’s no better feeling than coming back from a trip feeling refreshed, invigorated and full of new inspiration!
We spent a ton of time scouring the show looking at the latest collections from our favourite industry-leading makers including stand-outs: Anna Karlin, Egg Collective, Gubi and Pelle to name a few! We explored the city stopping by as many of the NYCxDesign pop-up shops as we could (The #BroomoffBroome was a show-stopper) and along the way stopped for two or three (ok maybe we lost count) drinks to check out not just the menu’s but the restaurant design as well.
